Company Bio

The Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department.

Under Construction

The purpose of the Corporation shall be to prevent loss of lives and property, to promote fire safety and foster the family of the fire service.

The fire service for the village of Hudson Falls dates back as early as December 6, 1885 with the organization of the Rescue Fire Company No 1. Through the years several different hose companies were formed and dissolved or had name changes. The Paris and Waite Hose Companies were the hose companies with the longest service. The Pairs, Waite, and Carpenter Hose Companies were combined to form the Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department November 20, 1989.
